Who We Are
The Anaheim Semper 5K&10K is proudly sponsored by the Anaheim 13th MEU Adoption Committee.
Established in 2007, when the City of Anaheim officially adopted the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) based at Camp Pendleton, this volunteer-based, citizen-run 501(c)(3) group provides meaningful support to the Marines and Sailors of the 13th MEU and their family members.
What We Do
All event proceeds directly benefit the Marines, Sailors of families of the 13th MEU. With the generous support of our runners and sponsors we are able to provide emergency relief funds as needs may arise, subsidize holiday events (Easter, Thanksgiving, Birthday Ball and Christmas), provide Welcome Home Bags upon return from deployment, host the Welcome Home festivities for the families as we await the return of their loved one.
