2022 Finisher Medal
Our 2022 race is the second in our Defending Freedom Series. Each year we will feature a different military vehicle in which the 13th MEU utilizes.
This year is dedicated to the Light Armored Vehicle 25(LAV25) which entered service with the USMC in 1983. The LAV25 is heavily-armed personnel carrier combined with speed, mobility and firepower. It is used as a fighting vehicle for reconnaissance roles, raiding and screening operations. It has a crew of 3 and accommodates 6 Marines. The LAV25 are amphibious, air-transportable and have been para-dropped.

Our Defending Freedom Series kicked off with the 2019: F-35 Fighter Jet. If you missed out, you can still sign up for the 2019 Virtual Run, while supplies last.
Other finisher medals will depict other vehicles such as: Osprey, Hmmwv, LAV25 Light Armored Vehicle.
